Welcome to the official blog for Nature Plus, as Nature Plus sounds, we are Health Maintenance Organisation. Nature Plus has been in business for more than three years and we expand in knowledge, seasoned expert and client base. We are offshoot of Health-link, the CEO of health-link is Dr/Mrs Ochuko Dakat, she is a Naturopath (a Doctor of Natural Medicine) We are group of professionals in the health sector seeking to bring health information closer to the people most especially in the less developed world where sickness and diseases are ravaging these parts of the world. We have made a thorough examination of this part and discover that health information about wellness does not get to the grass root or to the users.  People must continually be informed on new finding concerning health. We have been able to pin point that wellness is not about taking pills or drugs; it is about knowing the right information about yourself and the society you live in. Taking a regular and thorough medical examination /test to know your health status. Taking this information to people is a challenge we have taken upon ourselves to see that mortality rate as a result of negligence, ignorance and negative attitude toward health is reduced.

We are at the preventive end, because prevention is better, accessible and cheaper than cure. Taking charge of your health now, enables you to save more and payless when you get older. An average Nigeria doesn’t visit his/her doctor until he/she is sick. People don’t know the fact behind a wrong lifestyle which is putting treat on our existence. What you do or eat now determine your health status in the long run. The body is designed for activities, maintaining a regular life that comprises of having a regular sound rest, adequate exercise and diet that contain all the class of food in their right proportion. But sadly again the food no long give us the necessary nutrients to benefit our body and do percentage repairs in our body.  So health cut across all human endeavours and it’s relevant to everyone, young and old, men and women, the rich and the poor.

Availability of nutrients (Also called nourishment) is the provision, to cells and organisms, of the materials necessary (in the form of food) to support life. Many common health problems can be prevented or alleviated with a healthy diet. A poor diet that doesn’t contain the necessary nutrients can have an injurious impact on health, which can give room for degenerative diseases over time. Malnutrition is more than just hunger or a lack of food. It is a serious and often life-threatening medical condition caused by a diet lacking in essential calories, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals.

Babies and young children are particularly vulnerable to the disease if their mothers are unable to introduce sufficient food into their child's diet whilst weaning them off breast milk. This time between the age of six months and two years is one of rapid growth, when a diet lacking in essential nutrients can have a serious and profound impact on a child's long-term health and development. When the cells are supplied with the required nutrient then the following can be achieved.
1. Fuel to perform daily activities
Every single act performed by your body – no matter how small or mundane the task may seem – uses energy.

2. Nutrients for the body's cell
The body functions by means of a very intricate set of systems that work in perfect synchronisation to make life possible.

3. Growth and repair of tissue
Just as builders need special materials to renovate a home, your body demands certain nutrients for its "construction zone": the growth and repair of tissue.

4. Reinforcing the immune system You can enable your body to fight disease more effectively with the foods you eat.

5. Preventing chronic diseases of lifestyle
Good nutrition can be used as a tool to combat chronic diseases of lifestyle.

6. Maintaining good mental health
Diet can play an important role in thwarting the blues.

7. Ensuring healthy teeth and bones
A nutritious diet also ensures the health of your teeth and bones.
